This font was inspired by the
hand-painted fishing boats of Reykjavík. I wanted to incorporate the handmade character of these boats into my font, so I tried to incorporate certain details and irregularities.
Þetta letur er innblásið af handmáluðum bátanöfnum á fiskibátum í Reykjavík. Stafirnir einkennast af mannlegum þáttum – þeir eru oft ófullkomnir, með ójöfnum línum, óreglulegu bili og smávægilegum skekkjum sem segja sögur af vinnu, veðri og hefð.
